Puka Nacua had something of a down year in 2024, but 2025 is already looking up for him in a big way.
The Los Angeles Rams star receiver Nacua announced this week that he is expecting his first child with his girlfriend Hallie Aiono. Nacua and Aiono revealed via their Instagram pages that they are expecting a baby boy.
Nacua and Aiono have been together since at least 2023. Aiono has often posted pictures of herself in attendance at Rams games.
Still only 23 years old, Nacua was a Pro Bowler as well as All-Pro selection as a rookie for the Rams in 2023. That year, he put up 1,486 receiving yards (the most ever for an NFL rookie) on 105 catches to go along with six touchdowns.
Nacua’s numbers dipped in 2024 though as he missed several games due to a knee injury, which required a stint on injured reserve. But Nacua still managed to put up 990 receiving yards on 79 catches and three touchdowns during his 11 total appearances. With Cooper Kupp now with the Seattle Seahawks, Nacua will be teaming up with freshly-signed six-time Pro Bowler Davante Adams as the Rams’ new 1-2 punch at wide receiver.
Many were taken aback when Nacua revealed a few months ago that he intends to leave the NFL at a relatively young age. Nacua has even more motivation to consider his long-term future now that he and his girlfriend Aiono are expecting their first child.
