A serious lawsuit has been filed against former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Eric Moulds, accusing him of knowingly infecting multiple women with herpes.

The Allegations
The lawsuit, filed on December 10, 2024, accuses Moulds of negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and failure to disclose his sexually transmitted disease (STD) status. The plaintiff, who remains unnamed, claims that Moulds knowingly transmitted herpes simplex virus type 2 to her during their relationship, which began in 2018 and became sexual in 2023.
Eric Moulds’ Alleged Behavior
According to the lawsuit, Moulds specifically targeted single mothers who were Buffalo Bills fans living in Western New York. The plaintiff alleges that Moulds initiated contact with her via Instagram and later developed a long-term romantic relationship. The lawsuit states that their last sexual encounter occurred in November 2023, during which they had unprotected sex.
Discovery and Legal Action
The plaintiff began experiencing symptoms of herpes in December 2023 and subsequently tested positive for the virus. She claims that Moulds never disclosed his STD status and that she was unaware of his condition until his pregnant fiancée contacted her, advising her to get tested. The lawsuit also alleges that Moulds had been sued by several women over a decade ago for knowingly spreading herpes and that he paid them off to keep silent.
