Kelce mentioned that he had given Kylie a heads-up about his plans, but she warned him not to proceed. Despite her disapproval, Jason Kelce decided to go ahead with the celebration, stating, “I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.” He also mentioned that Kylie wanted him to be on his best behavior as he stated, “She already told me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor.”

Travis Kelce, however, shared that Swift “absolutely loved” what his brother did, indicating that the pop star appreciated the spirited celebration.

Before the game, Jason Kelce had engaged with Bills fans, participating in the Bills Mafia tailgate tradition of taking a shot out of a bowling ball. He expressed on the podcast that he had intended to rip his shirt off earlier but couldn’t so he decided to do it later. He said “But because we got pushed back on the tailgate front, I didn’t get to take my shirt off out there. And then when we got to the box, I noticed that I could jump out of that box. And if I’m outside, then I’m part of the Bills pageantry.”

He acknowledged getting caught up in the excitement of the fans and the game itself, leading to the impromptu shirtless celebration. The incident added a lively and unexpected element to the playoff atmosphere and Jason Kelce’s energetic antics became a talking point among NFL fans.
